This policy explains how to book a table, a room or the venue at Derby Place Gardens Naivasha, and what happens after you send a request.
How to book
You can send a request through the form on our Contact page, message us on WhatsApp, or call +254 725 369 375. Every request is read by our team. Nothing is confirmed automatically.
What you can book
- Tables for meals, coffee and drinks in the dining hall, the garden terrace or the window lounge.
- Stays, a room for one or more nights.
- Venue hire, the garden, the lounge or the whole venue for your own celebration, team day or party.
What we need from you
To look at your request we need your name, a phone or WhatsApp number, the date and the number of guests. For tables we also need a time. For stays we need your check-in and check-out dates. Your email address is optional; if you give one, we can email you when we confirm or cannot take the booking. You can add notes about celebrations, dietary needs or anything else we should know.
When your booking is confirmed
A request is not a confirmed booking until we confirm it by WhatsApp, phone or email. We usually reply within the hour. If we cannot take your request for the date or time you chose, we will say so and help you find another.
Holding your table
We hold a confirmed table for 15 minutes after the booked time. If you are running late, tell us on WhatsApp or by phone and we will keep it for you. After that we may give the space to other guests.
Stays
Your dates are held once we confirm your stay. Rooms are given to confirmed bookings only, one booking for each room. If your group is larger than a room sleeps, you may need more than one room, and we will tell you before we confirm. We give room rates on request and confirm the rate with you before you book.
Private hire and large groups
For private events, venue hire and large groups we first talk through your plans: the date, number of guests, food and drink, sound and music, and rooms for guests. For some bookings we may ask for a deposit or advance payment. If we do, we will tell you the amount and how to pay before you commit.
If you are coming with a large group, please ask us early.
Prices
Prices on our menus and room rates are in Kenyan shillings and may change. The price you are quoted when we confirm your booking is the price that applies to that booking.
