Before the park
Stop for a coffee on your way to Hell’s Gate National Park, about ten minutes up the road.
The Derby Coffee Shop is a bright ground-floor room with soft seating, long glass walls and a counter made for slow mornings.
Step in from the garden and the room opens up: red banquettes, round tables, soft chairs and a long window wall that fills the space with daylight. At the far end the counter glows yellow and the coffee machines wait.
It is the easiest place on the property to meet someone, start a morning, wait out the heat or sit with a book from the shelf by the window.

Three good reasons to walk in.

Stop for a coffee on your way to Hell’s Gate National Park, about ten minutes up the road.

Round tables for two, banquettes for a group, and the garden outside when you want some air.

A shelf of books, plants in the window and nowhere you have to be.

Walk in and find a seat. If you are coming with a group, message us and we will set a table.
